Pregnancy. 39 weeks – day 2. Contractions are almost non-existent, but I didn’t have any labor symptoms at this point with any of my kids so that’s okay.

I had the house ready, but as the days progress and we live in our home, I become less ready by the hour. I currently have a pile of laundry to fold/hang on my bed and a messy office I can’t seem to get in order. But I’m happy and grateful knowing that God is in control and that I should be meeting my newest babe within the next two weeks (hopefully sooner!). I’ve been praying for an easy(ish) labor/delivery, but have realized that the time of day is really what makes things easy/difficult for me… so now I’m praying that labor starts in the morning and that I deliver by evening so that I’m not too exhausted to think clearly.

Sometimes I find myself worried about delivery—feeling like I won’t be able to do it, but I have to keep reminding myself… I can do this… I have already done this… I’m made to do this! Soon I’ll have my sweet babe in my arms. 🧡
